Gregory
Jerome
has been performing and teaching guitar for 28 years. His
musical experience includes study and performance in folk, blues,
jazz and country styles. For the past 12 years he has focused his
efforts on developing a strong classical technique with special
emphasis on Spanish and Latin American composers. Greg’s
repertoire runs the gamut from quaint Spanish folk songs to tour de
force masterworks by such composers as Fernando Sor, Mauro Giuliani,
Francisco Tárrega and Augustín Barrios Mangoré. He has performed for
numerous prominent citizen groups throughout central Texas,
including the Austin Women's Symphony League, and has been a
featured performer on several occasions for the Austin Classical
Guitar Society.
Greg currently resides in Austin,
Texas, where he performs regularly at weddings, receptions, dinner
parties, restaurants, art galleries and recording studios. He gives
private lessons and has been a certified instructor and franchise
owner of the Childbloom™ Guitar Program, a comprehensive music
education program for children. |
